The pairings for two more Monaghan club finals were settled over the weekend. Ballybay Pearse Brothers and Donaghmoyne will meet in the Intermediate Football Championship final, and Aghabog Emmets will play Drumhowan for the junior title, according to results published by Monaghan GAA.

Intermediate: the two group winners go through

On Saturday 10 October, Ballybay beat Clones 3-19 to 0-12 in the first semi-final. The game was played in Monaghan with Anthony Marron refereeing, according to the Clones club's results page. Clones had reached the last four by beating Monaghan Harps 3-16 to 2-17 in the quarter-final at Scotstown on 3 October.

On Sunday 11 October, Donaghmoyne beat Emyvale 1-17 to 0-16 in the second semi-final. Emyvale had beaten Aughnamullen 1-17 to 0-12 in their quarter-final.

The final brings together the two teams that won their groups with a perfect record. Monaghan GAA's tables show Ballybay won all four of their Group 2 games and Donaghmoyne won all four in Group 1, a group in which they beat Clones 4-19 to 1-16 on 20 September. The IFC final is listed for Sunday 25 October at 3pm, with the venue still to be confirmed and Colin Murphy named as referee.

Junior: Aghabog face Drumhowan

Their opponents are Drumhowan, who beat Blackhill Emeralds 0-15 to 1-10 in the other semi-final in Ballybay on 3 October. Drumhowan won all four of their JFC group games and topped the Junior Football League. The final is listed for Saturday 24 October at Drumhowan, with throw-in time to be confirmed and Niall Finnegan as referee.

Senior relegation final

Also on Sunday, Magheracloone beat Cremartin 3-20 to 1-9 in the Senior Football Championship relegation final at Aughnamullen, refereed by Peter Cosgrove.

Next up: a double bill in Clones

Before any of those finals comes the senior decider. The Minor Football Championship Division 1 final between Donaghmoyne and Aughnamullen is listed for the same ground at 1.30pm that day.

The county champions go on to Ulster. Monaghan GAA's fixture list shows the Monaghan junior champions at home to the Antrim champions in the Ulster Junior Club Championship on Sunday 1 November at 1.30pm in Clones. The Monaghan senior and intermediate champions are both drawn against Derry opposition in Ulster quarter-finals on Sunday 8 November, each listed for St Tiernach's Park at 1.30pm.
